WWIC 2008, the 6th International Conference on
Wired/Wireless Internet Communications
was held in Tampere, Finland, on May 28-30, 2008.
The Best Paper Award was given to the paper Flow Level Performance Comparison of Packet Scheduling Schemes for UMTS EUL by Desislava Dimitrova, J.L. van den Berg, Geert Heijenk and Remco Litjens. People in the figure: Vasilios Siris, the TPC Chair (on the left), Jarmo Harju, the General Chair, Desislava Dimitrovna, the presenter of the paper (holding the plaque) and Geert Heijenk, co-author of the paper.

May 21, 2008: Final program
for WWIC and ERCIM workshop published. WWIC 2008 conference proceedings
is already online at LNCS 5031.

program published for the ERCIM eMobility Workshop. Early registration
closes on April 21. Book the hotel by April 30! Availability of rooms
cannot be guaranteed after that.
April 5, 2008: Preliminary
program published with 18 accepted papers and two invited talks.
March 11, 2008: Camera-ready
submission guidelines are available in the Submission instructions.
March 1, 2008: Review
completed, 21 papers out of 67 submissions were accepted.
January 21, 2008: Submission
closed, review in progress.
January 4, 2008: Due to
several requests, the submission deadline is extended to January 18.
This will be the hard deadline.
December 12, 2007: Final
Call for Papers published with
extensions of deadlines.
December 10, 2007: EDAS
submission opened.
November 9, 2007: Call for Papers published.
